Hi-thanks for thinking of me- went to Dr yesterday-all scans are clear.I have to repeat the lab in a few weeks. They think it's because I have either a sinus infection or some kind of inflamation that can cause the higher#.I asked what if it still comes back high & was told they won't do anything else just monitor it more closely.Hoping for better results next time. So glad to hear yours are back to normal!! Will let you know when I get the next labs done.0September 2013

I am still a little sensitive and sore but getting better. All the doctors think my incisions look great but they are not wearing them! Hope you are doing well.0September 2013

Hi!! Just wanted to pop in to see how things are going. I see that it took 6 weeks for your expander exchange to heal. Was that an exchange to an implant? I have not had my surgery yet and I sincerely hope I will only need to be off the one week the PS tells me I will need to be off. I healed pretty quick from the mastectomy, so I am hoping to heal just as well with my next surgery. I've been lucky so far (knock on wood). By the way, I love your kitty, so cute!!0August 2013

Hi ID: I love your avatar. I used to have a cat that looked much like that one. Her name was Snoopy. She was the best cat and her fur was so soft. I got another cat and named her Lucy (I like the Peanuts cartoon), however, my daughter moved to California and took her with her. She was a Siamese and lived for 22 years. The poor thing didn't like flying between California and Nebraska and she probably logged more air miles then I did. Hope your week is going good. Talk to you soon.0August 2013

Hi ld_105! I'm new to this site and have a lot to learn. I want to be able to share my experience with breast cancer so that I can be a blessing to others going thru the same thing. If there is anything I can help you with or have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I look forward to hearing from you.0August 2013

Hi Ld_105,
Forgive me if I've already replied to you, but things have been a bit chaotic for me. I just came back from a vacation to find that my cat had cancer and I had to put her to sleep. I had her for 10 years so it's been kind of hard (she was my best bud next to my fiance).
I have about 6 folks (BC patients all) who are interested (so far). I'm interested in where you live (in NY-Long Island, Brooklyn, etc). Don't write me back here on the website. You can contact Greg and ask him for my real email address. He'll be happy to give it to you. Since a number of our folks are coming from LI and Queens (but also a stop on the LIRR), it seems that a venue near Penn station makes the most sense. Btw, I'm not one of the group who hails from that area and another prospective member hails from N. Manhattan, so I'm just trying to make it a kind of Central area that's convenient to everyone.
I'll also be sure to ask Greg for your email address as well. I look forward to chatting with you and getting our coffee/meetup group off the ground!...;)
Warmest wishes,

Hi,
Thanks for replying to my post re a meetup in NYC. The best way to contact me is via email which you can obtain by contacting Greg Pierce. Or I can email him and tell him I'd like your email-both ways are fine. Look forward to e-chatting.

That is good news. I had a cat scan and bone scan today. Should get results tomorrow. But have a bad feeling about it because my CEA and CA15 numbers rips and doubled and that's a bad sign. Cross your fingers for e.0July 2013
