Hi; There are professional massage therapists who will come to the house and perform the lymph therapeudic massage. Call around to licensed agencies and see what & who comes up.

Carrot is used as an absorbant for toxins. They were and still are planted in grounds by nuclear and other toxic spills because of how much they absorb. If you own a juicer, juice a pound of carrot. Give the juice to your Mom to drink and lay the pulp into a small bit of cheesecloth or an old (thin) linen dish cloth or even a paper towel in a pinch. Make a sort of envelope by folding up the sides (lengthwise) around the pulp and then making flaps on either end.

You can protect the bed linens with plastic liner. Simply have your Mom lay down, face up, and put the pulp filled cloth on the front of her neck for 15 minutes or so. It should relax her. If she falls asleep, no matter as no harm can be done. There may be some heat raised so don't worry. You can store the pulp in the fridge for up to 24 hours and reuse it for up to 24 hours.

Make sure she stays hydrated. If she has no trouble drinking, juice greens for her, using beet and carrot as sweeteners or, in a pinch add a date or a bit of fruit. If she has problems drinking, use apple or other fruit sauce.

    Best healthy wishes.
