Hi Jeanie - welcome to WhatNext. I used to live in Temecula and have friends there. Cute town. A little hot though. :-)

I am so sorry for your diagnosis. This is a great site to help you with info and support. The people are wonderful and always willing to share their experiences. One of the biggest changes that gives me the most hope is that treatments have changed and improved a lot even in the past year. There's a lot of life ahead for all of us.

    Hugs!

Hi California Gal,I am one too, live way up in Redding where it has been quite hot lately.Last Sept. I was diagnosed with stage IIIC ovarian cancer.Had chemo to shrink the tumors, then debulking surgery, followed by more chemo.I am 67 and have now been in remission only four months.I am sorry to hear about your reoccurrence I realize there is a high percentage of that with our grade cancer.Talking to many people on the internet I have found that with all the alternative chemo meds. now that second remissions occur more often. Since we are being closely monitored they catch the cancer sooner . Hope your days ahead grow better and you beat this xxx disease into submission once and for all.Take care, talk anytime.

Hi there, fellow Temecula person! Nice to 'meet you, Jeanie! Actually, I don't live there any more but I still have a house there. I've got the same diagnosis as yours, but I'm stage IV. Just completed my second chemo series, surgery, and am about to start on maintenance chemo. Doing well so far - have a scan on Wednesday but I'm expecting more good news.

Glad to see you here and know you're in remission. Great news!
