    Susan,

Thank you for your recent post on my wall. You seem so positive and knowledgable about what you are facing. I really want to get on acor.org, but have not gotten my approval email to join yet. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what's there for lms patients going through treatments and survival.

I'm glad to hear that some of your returning tumors were eradicated by the chemo - that is encouraging. Tell me how you are feeling now. You said you have one large tumor that you will be receiving radiation. Have you started radiation yet or surgery to remove the tumor. How are you managing with the recurrance in your daily life? I'd like to know your updates if you wish to share as strength in numbers always helps - as far as support.

I wish I could find other survivors of this cancer - especially very long-term survivors- to show it can be done. I live in Ohio and seeking all my support from the James Cancer Center at Ohio State University where there is some sort of sarcoma program - not familiar with it yet. This is all so new and I've only had one appt. to tell me that I have this awful disease. My follow appt. is soon. I will ask questions based on some of the info. you shared in your last post - that helped immensely.

Continue getting stronger and better. I hope to hear from you again!

Thank you for the info. on acor site. I will try to get on it. It is hard to find information at all about this cancer.
I was just diagnosed with stage 1 lms after a hysterectomy for what was thought to be fibroids. Told that it's a flip of the coin to do chemo right away to just wait and observe to see if the cancer comes back because for now it did not spread anywhere else so far. Also told that there is no known evidence that doing chemo now will prevent the cancer from coming back. It's so hard to know what to do. What have you been through? Were you told simiar info. when first diagnosed?

Yay!!! Happy to get your response - good news! It would be wonderful to be able to have surgery to remove this "alien"! Actually, I'd be happy to have "most" of it removed, but the surgeons will not consider that - at least not until it would be immediately life-threatening not to reduce it. Anyhow, I'll keep the faith - thank you!
And my best wishes to you!

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/endometrial-uterine-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
