Hello...sorry you had to find us but so glad you did...you will find a wealth of information, experience and support here...just let us know how we can help...the first weeks are the hardest until the plan takes shape...you will be seeing a breast surgeon so that is your first step...I would try to bring someone with you as an extra set of ears is always helpful...get a binder to keep all the information you will get in one place...also keep all the phone numbers you will be using in one place along with referrals, Leave of Absence paperwork, (if you are working be sure to check with Human Resources, your surgeon's office staff will help with the forms), etc.
Welcome, fellow Ohioan, to this great site where you can talk to people going through similar things! I'm also ER positive and taking an estrogen blocker, Femara. It has been working really well for me. The best of luck to you.0November 2013
