Wow...a grumpy old man at age 45 or maybe 46 now. Hi my name is Russ and I am a 17 year pancreatic cancer survivor. You have every right to feel the way you do...after all you have cancer, a life threatening disease. Every one of us here on WhatNext have that same right. All of us have or still have cancer, and are battling to stay alive. Yet we find it some where, some how, deep down inside of us to realize we are survivors for a reason. That reason is to reach out to those who are newly diagnosed, like yourself, and tell them our story. Not because we are looking for sympathy, but because we tell them our story in hopes of giving them the strength, the courage, and the hope to move forward in their battle with this horrible disease. To fight with a passion everything this disease tries to do to us. When you feel up to it let us know when you are a survivor, and when you are ready to support those who follow in your footsteps. You know it makes big difference on how we feel about ourselves as well. My best to you wisdom12...Russ
