    Hi Marisol,

Thanks for responding to my post :) I am trying to have patience but honestly its not my best virtue lol. I have and appt with both my endo and my ocn. just after the new year so I am hoping to find out why I am so exhausted. In the meantime my pup needs me and I need him as well :) I walk him every day 3x's a day for and hour at a time min. sometimes longer if the weather permits. This 2nd battle with cancer is so much harder on me than it was 13 yrs ago. Yeah I know I am now 13 yrs older but this cancer was different, this time it was an aggressive triple negative form but thank the LORD MY GOD it was contained and hadn't spread to any nodes on me. I chose to not have chemo because it wasn't worth the risk to my heart that it posed. When I was 11 yrs old back 40 yrs ago I had open heart surgery, the very thought of doing anything that might cause damage to my heart just isn't something I was willing to risk. My onc. told me that with chemo my risk of reoccurrance was like 30% without chemo it would be like 35% so like I said the risk of damage to my heart wasn't worth it. My furbaby takes very good care of me and I take good care of him. I know I will eventually get over this but its just so tiring. I wish you and your family a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR.

I love Barcelona I hope to go back one day. My grandfather on mother's side came from beautiful Sitges and settle in Cuba when he was very young. Hope you are doing well and it sounds like your health system is a problem. Here we are heading into the unknown with Obamacare. God help us all.

My doctor also told me that I had to leave the power port in for a year, just in case. What a pain! I just want to be done with all this nonsense.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Your experience as a survivor is valuable to those who are just starting, you can answer their questions since you have been there already. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
