Dear Maria M . Thank you for liking my comments. I have just read your story and can say you are a very strong person. I am so happy you are done with treatment and feeling better. Way to go!
A year from now it will all be a bad dream. Hang in there.

Sounds like I am one month ahead of you so we are probably going thru the same things. I finished rads last Friday and cannot wait for the effects to wear off. The pain has gotten less, however, the exhaustion is still with me. Take care.0October 2013

I had my cancer detected during my annual pap. it was a shocking and lucky occurrence as this cancer is rare to show on a pap smear. Same type as you have stage I. Finished treatment in May and now doing the check ups. You are lucky to be in a large hospital system I had to go to Md Anderson for a 2nd opinion. Keeping my fingers crossed.0September 2013

How long did you work at University of Washington? Enjoy your retirement and let cancer not make a dent in your celebration. Laurie at VM, GYN Oncology coordinator, gave me the wig book you mentioned. I canceled the one I had ordered elsewhere and, with complete insurance coverage, I ordered "Claire" in color #4, dark brown hair like my own. I want to treat myself to a second wig in a foil type mixture of browns. I am saving my pennies. cost would have been $56. I need a second surgery. It metastasized to my bladder. The breast cancer is not part of the uterine. This is, I'm told, unusual but has been seen.0September 2013
