Lynn, when you think she's ready maybe your neighbor who just had surgery would want to join us...she may have lots of questions post surgery, and if she decides to have reconstruction, many here will share their experiences with different types of surgery...in the meantime I will keep her in my prayers for an easy recovery...also love your neighborhood and hate the disease! Have a good rest of the weekend. Grace

I think that you will find this a very friendly, helpful site to be when you need someone to talk to or to just vent some anger. We are all here to listen and help if we can. No question is to silly either so don't be afraid to ask them. Someone will have an answer for you that you might find helpful. The only way you can respond to me is through my wall. My computer won't pick up the messages that are left on the board on others questions. So if you would like to contact me going through my wall is the only way.

Hi Lynn, you will find lots of wonderful people, information, experiences and support here...we are here for one another and, since you are a long-time survivor, you can be a big help to others who are newly diagnosed or need some advice and encouragement...your identity is absolutely private so do not worry about divulging anything but seeing your address makes me think we may have a mutual friend (Kathy). Well, I am sending along best wishes and a sincere welcome, visit often and glad you found us. Gabba aka Grace

I too was diagnosed with stage IV b/c in June 2013. This is probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to me and my family. It gives me hope after seeing your diagnosis was 6 years ago. Thoughts and prayers to you.

Lynn, thanks so much for the info. since mine is metastatic, chemo or a mastectomy don't do any good. I am taking Femara which has, to date, kept the tumors from going beyond my bones which are like 2 x 4's that termites have attacked. I passed my two year anniversary in October and am stable. I wish you all sorts of good health and congrats on your reconstruction. As a last resort, the onc would try chemo....
