Hi, I had reconstruction which promptly began failing due to msra infection. I have never been "fitted", looked at a web site and ordered spare parts. If you are large busted the prosthesis can be quite heavy. You need some weight in a prosthesis to hold that side of the bra down. There are specialty undie shops that also sell mastectomy bras & forms. You may have to experiment, I found a size down from what I needed was more comfortable against my scars. If you have lymphedema or are at risk, you need to avoid tight narrow bands. I get the biggest band I can buy, I also have some sport bras I like for air travel. You and a gal pal could have quite a shopping adventure. Check out the Liberator web site to get an idea of what is available.

Hi Lynn: Why don't you ask your health insurance people? Too bad you're not in WA state--we have a terrific place called Judy's Intimate Apparel and they REALLY do it right! Lots of choices and they are so kind there.
