Well said LeezaMLS to the question about what would you like people to know about cancer. Don't you wish we all lived closer together? We would all be such good friends, but we can still be good friends through the writing. I find I can get my thoughts more organized when writing. kimg09

I'm posting here because I'm LeezaMLS. I had problems logging in and reentered as AlizaMLS and that's the name I'm using now, so anyone who was interested in Leeza's plight, please message AlizaMLS. Thanks!

Welcome to the site! Thanks for registering, if you need any help navigating the site please contact me.

If you have questions to ask post them in the "questions" tab at the top of the page. This way they are seen by everyone in the network that are most like you in diagnosis, and you will get the most help there.

Please read through the questions page, if you see someone has asked for help on a subject that you can help on, please join in the conversation. We have a lot of great people here, and always welcome those that want to help by giving back.

Welcome to the site. When I was diagnosed, I knew immediately I would get a radical bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. However, I also did a lot of research. My reserach was google image searching pictures of reconstructed breasts which was a huge mistake. I saw some horrific things and read some horrible experiences. I had a long talk with my plastic surgeon (who happens to be a friend from elementary school) and he told me not to worry. I felt confident in his hands, and I was so pleasantly surprised with how my breasts look now. I write a blog (nancebeth.blogpost.com) where I have chronicled my experiences from diagnosis to surgery to chemo to NED.
Good luck with whatever choice you make and if you need to talk, you've come to the right place.
