Hi; Happy New Year. I just wanted you to know that I am one of those "out there" people who is a raw & living food devotee.

I lived (unknowingly) with toxic mold behind the walls of our home. My Mom died in that house and we hadn't a clue as to the real cause. I developed a tumor while living in that house which doctors consistently misdiagnosed for 13 years.

After the 13 years, I was finally diagnosed at stage 2 whereas the cancer I'd developed is supposed to be fast & aggressive It was 5 more years before the actual problem was finally & accidentally discovered.

I refused treatment because the prognosis for cure was poor and continued looking for alternative solutions. I eventually submitted to treatment because of lies by a radiologist.

Anyways, it is 12 years later and here I am, mutilated but cancer free. A lot of folks treat food like it is nothing, do no research, and think that a juice in the morning will fix them. There is more to it than that. Please don't blythely dismiss a protocol about which you know too little.

There is more than one way to skin the proverbial cat and even more ways to be hale & hearty as our Creator intended. Best wishes for a full recovery for your hubby.

Hey Joyex, I am so sorry to see you both are going through all of this again.....I know exactly what mean to be in a hospital and have one bad news after other and see our world getting darker and darker.....but please don't lose hope never.....fight with all your heart and soul....choose the right people to fight together with you both....only those who you really trust and feel that are committed to your husband cure instead of cancer statistics should be allowed on board......discuss with his doctors about gene mutations test.....that should be very useful to support the definition of which drug is or is not effective in his case and sometimes also to forecast some reactions to side effects.....set google alerts with information that could be relevant to his treatment such as "gene mutation" "clinical trials" "recurrent colon cancer" or any other you want so you will have more information and very up-to-date data to discuss with his doctor....and count on us.....I will keep you both in my prayers.....God continue blessing all of us

Hello, Joyex and welcome to WhatNext and sorry for why you are here. I know the feeling when they tell you it's back. Had that happen to me a few times already. I have been fighting for about 9 1/2 years now. Just because the tumor is inoperable doesn't mean that chemo is the only option for treatment, and there are several different chemo regimens to try including a couple new ones. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help out and if you need advice on caregiving look up my wife she goes by Queen Tatiana here. Good Luck

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/colorectal-colon-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
