Hi there! We seem to have very similar situations. I am 63 with the same diagnosis. I am soon to finish radiation. I am at 25 with 9 to go. I had a lumpectomy with 1 out of 3 sentinel nodes positive. My Oncotype score was 14. I had to get a second opinion to skip chemo because my oncologist wanted me to be in a trial with randomization whether to have chemo and A1 or just A1 alone. I did not want to have chemo if it was of little benefit. I will start Arimadex in several weeks. How are you doing with the A1? Which one are you on?

Jane, you are most welcome...I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers...don't forget to find something to laugh about every day...two friends, long-time breast cancer survivors, gave me that advice and it really helped...also get a copy of Cancer Vixen from the library or buy a copy, I read a bit of it every day at radiation and, while a journey through one woman's diagnosis and treatment, it made me laugh, I also watched Jerry Seinfeld every night on reruns and that helped too! Good luck, my new friend.

Hi Jane. I just began my radiation yesterday. Chemo was finished in mid December; then I had a mastectomy on January 31st. I'll be having 30 radiation treatments in total. I hope you continue to do well with your treatment as it's laid out for you. Where do you live, Jane? I live in Florida. I wish you well and God Bless...

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
