Hi Janstar47 - I finished all treatment in December 2013. Finishing up reconstruction in December. I'm 2 years Cancer Free.

Thanks for your response to my hair regrowth question. I've worn my wig only to let my kids see it. I think I posted on this site before that I don't ever wear it because it looks like a dead animal sitting on my head. I know there are upscale stylists who could get me a wig that could be styled exactly for me, but I know they are much too expensive. They are also not close by. Oh well - there are things in life more important than hair, and fortunately, I have some of those.

HI Janstair, I'm sorry your feeling alone, let me help you with a few things.

First you can use the search feature in the people tab, and search for people with your type of cancer who are within a certain number of miles from you.

Second, ask a question in the questions tab at the top of any page, thats where most people browse to offer help, and where you should post your questions to the entire network.
