Hi,
I have what may seem like an odd question. My husband and I were talking about how good it would be to find a couple, where the husband is the caregiver, to connect with. We have lots of friends who are very supportive but unless you are going through this, it's not the same. Would be nice to have conversations about all the changes to our "normal" life and how to go forward.
I realize this may be a strange request and understand if you are hesitant. If you do have any interest, please let me know. We live in San Jose as well.
Best wishes,
Debbie0June 2015 -
Hi, Ilenealizah. How are you doing? You wrote recently about having the blues. I'm just wondering how you're doing - wanted to check in on you. I'm wishing you peace.0January 2017

Hi Iline, have you linked your blog to your WhatNext page here on the site? I noticed you were telling others about some of your posts. An easy way to do that is go to your account page, it's at the top of any page.
Click on account,
Then look on the right side where it says Add/Change RSS Feed
Find the RSS feed of your blog and put it in that line on your account page.
That's it! Your blog will update on your home page each time you post a new post on your blogs page. You will be able to see it by going to your home page here at WhatNext.
Let me know if you need help doing this, and thanks for posting and helping others with their journey, everyone appreciates it!0November 2016 -
Sorry to say, but your husband sounds like an FN jerk who is unwilling to give you emotional support. CancerCare has support groups for all cancer patients and family members. Please seek them out. Their service is free. Hugs to you.0November 2016

I love your cat, looks like a tonkinese I had decades ago. She was my lifetime favorite cat. I lived in San Jose as a Navy brat & my daughter lives in Santa Clara. I do recommend joining the Inspire site as well as this one, double the sharing & caring. I am with you on the lumpectomy, hope all goes well.0October 2016

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join.
