*Welcome* to this site!!! I too have appendix cancer. it started for me with 1st surgery in oct. 2012, thinking I had ovarian cancer. I had the HIPEC in march 2013. started chemo in may and had 15 treatments through feb 2014, took a break for Christmas holidays!!! they give me Avastin, Oxalplatin and the 5FU pump for 46 hours afterwards. Nausea is my biggest problem, take Zofran and did take Haldol, which does calm the side effects, even though it is a anti-physchotic. recent scan shows growth for me, so I will start chemo again on the 29th. had a 5 month break almost to get healthy again!!! I read the book The Healing Code, amazing book!!! I believe in meditation and prayer for my emotional wellbeing!!! God Bless you on your journey, keep us posted!!! that's how I have learned how to deal with cancer, supporting each other with experiences and information and reaching out to others who have been there, done that!!!
