I'm coming up on my annual CAT Scan -- the end of this month. Labs, more labs, endocrinologist, oncologist -- the whole nine yards. So far I'm not freaking out. Trying to enjoy planting squash in my itty bitty garden.
I know the shock and helpless feelings. You expect the world to stop but it doesn't. Your world gets crowded with doctors and nurses and the people in the lab. It gets busier with appointments that take so long and they are the last place you want to be or thought you'd ever be.
I'm so sorry. Still praying for comfort and peace for you and healing for your wife. Make sure you take care of yourself too -- you have a very stressful job now and she is depending on you.

Hi Dwight 42 years together is wonderful! My Husband and I have just celebrated our 20 year anniversary.
I am almost 4 years post treatment for anal cancer stage 3b. I had chemo x2 and radiation at the same time for 6 weeks.
