Hi! Saw your post on Sue57's wall. AHCC is fermented mushrooms. It isn't a cleanser so much as it is liver supportive, much like milk thistle. AHCC is also said to be a big deal in fighting cancer and liver disease. It is very expensive to take enough to be of benefit (something like 6 times the recommended dose on the label). I took it for a while and it helped but it wasn't the end all. Best wishes.

    Hi southrncharmed
Thank you for your message and your prayers. If a person is not connected directly or indirectly with cancer we are not aware of how cancer has effected us. When my wife started chemo we found the cancer hospital was packed. They treat probably 175 people a day just in that department. We truly believe in the power of Prayer. It really saddens my heart to see all the people affected with this disease. I have added more people on my prayer list. Special people like you and every member on what next. I hope and pray for a miracle for you. Dwight

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend

Greetings. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way the entire network will have access & you'll get a quicker response. Likewise, please feel free to browse questions, as your experiences may be helpful to other WhatNexters. I'm sorry for the losses of your mother & your aunt to this disease; but congrats on the birth of your grandbabies. That wheel of life keeps turning, doesn't it? I'm so glad you found us but so sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Wishing you all the best.
