Hi Carol. I hope your flank pain goes away. That's an achy pain or a sharp pain? As for the anxiety is it any wonder with what you must endure, apparently for months on end, of these "renovations" to your building? I am reading "Without Feathers". It's hilarious. Love as usual, Chris

Did anybody show up to fix your bathroom?
Wolf--I'm on a roll. I just knew that her Mom got knocked up, while her husband was stationed in Germany.

Things have a way coming to light.

Hey, Carol! First, it's fine with me to stop our discussion, but I wanted to remind you I'm an Independent and interested in facts about all the candidates. I also want to apologize if I'm the one who made you angry.

I'm keeping an open mind till after the debates, but I'm pretty moderate and think Congress (and the Pres) need to learn to compromise to make things basically good for all, rather than only 1/2 the country. Don't you think it's divisive to be "either. . .or" instead of meeting in the middle? Peace and tranquility.

This is the vet group that I belong to.

As a non-partisan organization committed to advocating for the voices of all Post-9/11 veterans, IAVA applauds the efforts of some of Governor Gary Johnson's and Dr. Jill Stein's supporters to include their perspective in the conversation. We agree. The conversation focused on veterans should not end on September 7th and with the major party candidates. IAVA is 100% committed to expanding the public conversation about the issues facing veterans with any viable candidate for President as often as possible.

As it stands today, Governor Johnson is qualified to appear on a ballot in all 50 states and exceeds 10% in a recent poll of active duty troops, Reservists and National Guard members conducted by the Military Times. Though Mr. Johnson still does not meet the historical standard for general election meetings between candidates set by the Presidential Debate Commission, IAVA took the extra step to develop our own, more inclusive threshold for a series of Commander-in-Chief Forums. We appreciate the patience of our members as we carefully underwent this important process. We have reached out to Governor Johnson's campaign to invite him to participate in an IAVA Commander-in-Chief Forum event and I had an extremely friendly and productive phone call with him yesterday. You can see a recap from The Military Times here.

Wed-8 pm your time- a national debate is being held in NYC with questions from the military community. The military is so scared of being sent to war because the Donald starts a Twitter war with some grandmother Germany or France. Then Hillary doesn't seem to be a strong focused leader either--

Hillary is considered to be the lessor of the 2 evils--we hope that she'll pick better people than Obama did. Others hope that Trump will take his meds and behave.

You might wonder about so much talk about Johnson. He fought the DOD and kept the Enchilada AF proudly buzzing bikini clad babes on beaches. He fought hard for funding, maintainance, assignments to justify the existence of the NM Air Force, making sure the air crews had adequate pay and support, that the families received all benefits due them.

I'm not trying to change your mind. I am just wanting to show you a different part of America and its politics.

You never know if the modern Pancho Villa will attack NM again.

Hi, are you watching "killer Clergy"? the second show is on tonight. Pretty good-- Last week a murderous texas Baptist preacher--tonight it might be a Catholic priest.

I guess that I should leave America---I just signed a petition to support Kaepernick? that football player that won't stand for the anthem

The petition was put out by the Iraqi-Afghanistan Veterans organization.. The Question is--What did we fight for? We fought for Freedom, which is what my husband fought for. I guess if I have to leave lots Marines, soldiers, AF, and sailors will be going with me. Personally--I think that he is wrong, but you know, he has a right to be wrong.

Carol, thanks for your forgiving reply! I also think we'd have fun if we ever met!

I used to know details about previous requests from the Ambassador, but my memory isn't working. There were several investigations, and the BIG QUESTION in each was about the night it happened when the soldiers were ready to go, actually on the plane, and Hillary kept changing her mind----that's where the mystery is. One of the soldiers said she thought she needed to get permission from that country to fly in, or either not wear their uniforms, and they changed clothes several times. Recently the CIA Director then (Pinetta) testified to Congress that it was definitely an order to go when he last saw it, so nobody knows who interceded. (I think this is how Hillary's emails first got irequested, leading to the FBI investigation because they found out she had the server in her home and had deleted emails after they were requested.)

Somebody on WhatNext reminded me today that there were secret arms deals going on, and it could have had to do with us arming the wrong group to start with.

There were other groups of soldiers nearby who could have been ordered in and weren't. The CIA guys who went say they disobeyed about 3 orders to Stand Down because they were close enough to know what was happening, so they went expecting others to follow, but nobody else showed up. One of their guys was killed, and it lasted 13 hours. For purposes of figuring out the mystery, the CIA guys still don't know who gave the Stand Down orders to their supervisor, which could be the key to it all.

(I've seen the CIA contractors on a talk show telling the story and laying their heads down to cry.)

Then the next chapter which is weird was an email from Hillary to Chelsie saying it was a terrorist attack, but then they sent people on the Sunday shows saying it was not a terrorist attack, that it was some guys mad about an anti-Muslim video----WEIRD, but people keep asking why would Obama and Hillary say that and what are they hiding? Some think that part was because of the election coming up, and him wanting it to look like terrorism was under control.

Sorry this is so long. I won't bring it up again!

Weiner- weiner and weiner. Remember the first time the news broke about Weiner? On the very same day, a NM Democrat hit the news too- only he was a pediphile that just returned from Bangkok- he was also showing his junk by text. His name is Weiner. Our local news and people couldn't figure out what Clinton had to do with pediphilia, and why they had the wrong name for his wife. The NBC, ABC, and CBS affliates were trying to figure out why they were saying New York- not New Mexico. I will add that our Weiner went to Bangkok on the taxpayer's dollar. The 2 Weiners, and their weiners got merged in the news.

So, this time-- the local news said-- The New York Weiner is exposed again---This is the New York Weiner. Our New Mexico Weiner is staying zipped up.

I can't wait for the FLA primary results. They have 13 people running for president---

P.S. I love Guiliani, but did you know he's one of Trump's supporters? Cruz is absolutely my least favorite of the Republicans. He was such a sneaky liar while showcasing his faith that I think he's finished as far as Presidential campaigns. I heard his PAC is the group who published the nude photo of Trump's wife, and that's just sleezy, even more so because she's so quiet and doesn't even campaign.

I really don't have a dog in that fight about the Epipens, although I think they're great and glad it's working out. I saw the HPV vaccine question, but noticed the topic was about the pros and cons of vaccines. I take all routine vaccines and hope for the best.

Hi, how are you holding up since the political can of worms was opened up?

The Muslim Brotherhood controlling Libya certainly wasn't Obama's or Hillary's fault. and there weren't any secret arms deals. Many Libyans fought against Qaddafi--the Muslim Brotherhood lied to everybody and took control of the rebels.
We didn't have any intelligence. Obama was pressured by the nightly news to send in air support for the rebels-- then to arm the rebels- then to recognise the rebel government. I know that I signed petitions about supporting, arming, and recognizing the new government.

I don't know- but yesterday I was so tired. When I sat down, I fell asleep. I need to try to get a few things done. I will say that I'm not suffering from insomnia. My head hit that pillow, and I was out like a broken light

My energy has been cycling like this since radiation. I can think of worse things, like not remembering my name-- LOL

Florida politics---It's a circus---I told you that I'm supporting- very, very modestly- like $5 for the year--a Florida Dem Senator. He's part of the group trying to strengthen SS--like the money paid in-- raise the cap paid in on wages so rich people pay more in.

Anyway, yesterday I got an Email asking me to make calls today- FLA dem primary today.. Saying-- vote for so and so-the sitting senator is trying to phase out Social security. Please call and save SS.

OK--It doesn't say anywhere the name of the bad congressman- I looked it up by district, and I see the bad man is the person that I like enough to give $5 to. Somebody stole his donor list. Considering that I live in NM- it's a stretch that they'd get my Email anyother way. Geesh--- I think the sun baked their brain cells down there.

Well said to Boise. This is so hard on her. I think that our bodies are like war ships. Get to port- and everything is wrong from teh battering of storms, the stress of guns firing, flank speed, hard turns, depth charge explosions--wear and tear.

Our nervous systems are shot, our hormones change and those change our bodies.

I like reading the Pittsburgh Gazette. This was in the PG-- Alleghany County is paying double for DNA. They bought lab services, but had to switch to the FBI preferred list to get convictions that would stand up

Dr. Mark Perlin, a medical doctor and the creator of the program, blames the lack of use on a number of factors: analysts’ unwillingness to change, fear of repercussion by the FBI — which uses a competing program — and a fear by government officials that moving to the new program will open them up to potential liability by people who may have been wrongly convicted through less reliable testing methods.

Carool- I do know what you're talking about. People from Chicago were amazed at the freedom in CA. I know that if a Pole got off on the wrong stop- the pole would be killed by the germans or Irish- and it went the other way around.

SoCal was Jewish friendly, especially for Holocaust survivors. The ones that had trouble were Japanese-Americans.

i know how banks had their own way of segregation by not approving loans to Whites wanting to move into a nice Black neighborhood that was close to Downtown. Some friends had that trouble in Cincinatti.

I guess that the population was small and spread out-so a neighbor was usually a neighbor no matter if they were atheist, Muslim, Jewish, Protestent, Buddahist, Sihk, Hindu, or Catholic.

What I'm finding a lot of is that a kid or student can't really trust what they think is a friend. Something happened where stabbing in the back, even setting up elaborate schemes to trick some body seems to be the norm any more.

My son was appalled when he went on the first cutter. The Coast Guard taught the cooks how to cook for religious dietary restrictions and Vegans, when he tried to find out who should be served a clean pork free meal-meaning not frying eggs in bacon grease-these poor jews and Muslims thought that he was finding out so my son could torment them.

Being a Southwesterner, he was always taken home to their families. The poor kids were in the habit of taking a supply of Kosher canned goods to sea with them. One sailor asked if he could heat up his kosher food. My son cooked him up pork free fried potatoes and a vegan burger to go with it. Then he got a list of shipmates with Kosher diets.

At first they thought that he was a closet Jew or Muslim, then they realized that he was a true Southwesterner.

One of my uncles stayed in Germany for a few years- got on a British SS hunting club based in Hamburg-- Single Jewish men were at the very bottom of the JRA and Red Cross lists. He sponsored these men, and the Irish family helped them get integrated-jobs, a home, etc. I sat on the laps of men that had tattoos on their arms.

    I'll shut up now.

Kenda---Did you see the teaser? I can't wait for tommorow.

Did you see that Unraveled? About us trying to understand why people snap. I decided it's too Unraveled for me. The first one was a Texas dentist that put her 16 year-old step-daughter in the car to find the dentist's husband-father of the girl. They found him in a hotel parking lot with his girl friend. The dentist drove over him, and drove over him, and drover him- again and again--sort of like a bizarre carnival ride- with the daughter screaming and screaming.

Last week--a tormented genius decided that his father should be executed for passing genetically inferior sperm. The young man- goes to college and shoots his father with a giant hunting bow during the middle of the lecture. I will add most of the students stayed there and continued to take notes. Then the tormented genuis managed to point an arrow at himself- and commit suicide by bow and arrow. I wil add they showed a security video last night of a nervous man waving a 12 gauge shotgun in an armed robbery at a cafe, and my son screamed-- look--look- the customers are still eating while he's robbing the place.

The show has all of these friends, relatives, and psychologists that tell of every trauma and problem the Unraveled had to try to understand. why they murdered. I don't really want to watch it anymore, but I have a morbid curiousity on how the next Murder takes place.

I don't care for Coroner either...

Hi, did you see 6 Degrees? Jonni Versacci? I saw all sorts of variations about that----Cunanen's early years--the life of Versacci-focus on catching Andrew Cunanen in Florida-FBI focus but they all ignored the murders in Minneapolis and the poor victims---they were just about ignored----The FBI stories started in Chicago---had great detail about the poor cemetary worker.

I feel that 6 degrees did the best job of the overall story.

Passport---that seems to be a common thing in Colorado----one similar murder of a groom- the bride's son-an older teen ager-showed up and helped the police focus on her- and testified against her. He was positve that his mother killed his father and a step-father he really liked a lot---Very sad-very sick----

We consider Colorado-AZ, and Texas as local news.

Hi, our heat wave broke-- 98 at 2PM is cool-we love it. Last week I went out at 5 AM, and my rain water collection barrels were still hot. I didn't go out at 5 AM or touch the barrels anymore. I couldn't use that water for my trees, etc. Plants don't like hot water- warm is good- no shock- but hot??

Kenda is supposed to be back on in late August. Wolf was really good---I thought. It was funny- I guess people were asking if it could be real, so he had camera men following camera men. And it's still probably re-enactments. One thing lately-even the bad people don't mind bing on TV-they get money for defense-hope to get an acting job-reality show-and money for their defense or appeals. Anyway this woman wants the truth--gives her fiancees name- Wolf tracks him down-films him with another woman-takes the film to the woman- and she's screeching-- Who's that? You nitwit, you can't even find my man-and he's in the Army- Nitwit!

So they do another facial recognization program- and he takes her this time, hoping it's the correct person. Yes it is, with a different name, a wife and 3 little kids. They never show his face at all-no permission. The wrong guy was a hunk---so I guess he gave permission if they did close ups of his body and face-It is Southern CA.

6 degrees---they are mostly doing murders that have been on lots of shows, and I've already seen. I think that's one reason I like Kenda--something different. Probably part of why I like Wolf-and they work to find odd ball tings-like the bad twin that kept stealing his brother's ID, girl friends, etc. The guy says that he thinks his GF is cheating-then Wolf thinks his client is crazy. he's watching the GF with the twin-and his client calls up--

Hole in bone---My ENT is going to monitor it. He notified the 2 oncologists that I do have a hole in my bone. He gave a more detailed radiology reading to my oncologists. It's not down into the part of the bone that NIH says it has to be, before anything can be done. Feds say 14 days- Pres says 21 days. I said- I know, and Pres makes the strictest interpretation of these regulations--He almost dirtied his trous laughing.

Do you realize the NIH fines doctors that prescribe antibiotics too often or too soon? My ENT was fined twice--one was an elder with ear infections, and the other was born disabled young man that just can't fight off head infections. The stupid Feds think it better.

Anyway, he's happy that I listed him as follow up with Urgent Care.

Hi, guess what Medicare is doing? It's starting a research program on 10 rural hospitals in Montana, NV, North Dakota- While this doesn't have to do with cancer, it can only help everybody of any age. They call this "Frontier Community Health Integration Project Demonstration" It probably will help rural doctors to stay in place.

below is the justification for Frontier Community Health. I am happy. I live in a city, but it's nice to see something happen for the people. I'm sure the rural Congresspersons have been working hard on these issues. I hope that it stops the hemorhaging and death of rural health care. it should improve cancer detection, and the ability to get into a cancer clinic lots sooner.

"Medicare beneficiaries who live in frontier areas of the country sometimes travel hundreds of miles to see a doctor. This increases the cost of care and can discourage beneficiaries from seeking treatment," Patrick Conway, MD, principal deputy administrator and CMO of CMS, said in a news release. "The effort that is beginning today will look at ways to shrink the distance between the Medicare beneficiary and the care they need."

    Hi, how are you doing?

I'm doing OK----Did you watch Passport to Murder? I didn't like the one in Hong Kong-- I think they put lots of effort in the first one or two- and the writers think they're finished with work-OR KENDA spoiled me.

6 Degrees slightly changed its format---Maybe they just were assigned a murder that was unsuitable for the Degree thing--Again---Where is Kenda?

I've been cleaning out linen cabinets- sorting through-twin sheets-Goodwill. Levi hadn't been 2 interested-and sort of wadding stuff up- sticking it on the back of the couch- shoving it whatever. You know guys-- Millenials aren't any different.

Anyway, he came in and said--- Would you like me to help you get the linen closet cleaned out-things washed, folded up, put away?? Do pigs like to eat?? Oh, yes

He talked-- his girlfriends mother is cleaning the closets and linens--summer company moved out--anyway, Chloe's mother was complaining that going up a ladder while carrying pillows was hard- she almost fell- and she's about 48. A light bulb went off in Levi's head-- his granny, me, is 74.

So, Carool- I'll leave with this thought for you-- All of the winter things are now put away-So nice!! We can pull everything out about 60 days--- I love it---- I always knew that we were dysfunctional!!!

Hi Carool. In reading comments this morning, I just want to strangle bible thumpers. I've read similar comments before on another thread recently and just grit my teeth...will probably need to see a dentist soon if it continues. I've always been a believer ever since I was a little kid. Went to a church between the ages of 18-38 (am 69 now) and still have a strong faith, but it's my own faith and not a churchy one. I just needed to vent, hope that's ok.

Hi, did you see 6 degrees of murder? That was great. I saw the original case on NBC 20-20 right after the poor thing was killed, and the trial ended. I think 6 degrees was better than 20-20 and Unsual Murders. This was more balanced and focused more on the investigation than 20-20 and Unusual If I remember correctly-20-20 focused more on her as a hot stripper-then focused more on her husband and the police officer.

Unusual Murder focused more on the police department-and the murderer. If UM is correct-the police officer had been going around and asking questions about her and red Jeep before she was almost run off of the road-and there was more on the shoe investigation than 6 Degrees showed. I guess 6 Degrees got cooperation from the police by down playing the police department. The police really did a good job investigating.
