    Hi TonyaSue,
You are WAY too young for all of this. So sorry. I have stage IV endometrial cancer and just had my last chemo session today. Hooray!! I am also weighing the idea of radiation. Will have 3 more CT scans in a week or so and then meet with Oncologist to discuss radiation. He's going to have to work hard to convince me. I'd like to have an option in reserve, especially if nothing shows up on the CT scans. I'll let you know what I decide. Best of luck to you.

Hi neighbor! I live in NW Columbus. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. I was diagnosed w/stage IV endometrial cancer back in July 2012. Still ticking. Are you treating through the James? I went through Riverside. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way the entire network will have access & you'll get a quicker response. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Wishing you all the best!

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Welcome TonyaSue. I was stage three and had a radical robotic hysterectomy last May 1. Since they found it had spread to two of seventeen nodes taken I was scheduled for six treatments of carbo/taxol. I was only able to tolerate four before the nerve pain became unbearable. I had to use a wheelchair for six weeks. I was so afraid I would not be able to walk again . My hands have all but resolved with occasional nerve pain but my feet not so much. The pain lessened but the numbness is severe. I do use a cane when I leave the house. I start acupuncture the end of the month. Since I was not able to complete chemo I did 25 rounds of external pelvic radiation. While it was not a walk in the park, it was nothing compared to chemo. I still suffer with extreme fatigue but am now taking private Pilates sessions to rebuild my strength. I spent most of four months in bed during chemo. Please know we are all different. I would never wish my experience on anyone. But almost five months from my last radiation, I do feel hopeful I might have a new normal life. I hope to return to work part time on June 2. Basically, 13 months from my surgery. I am severely anemic and most do weekly blood tests to monitor my anemia. With all of this behind me now, I can proudly say lived through it. However, there were days when I would not have made it without my friends and supports on this site. Our bodies never cease to amaze me. I was at deaths door and here I am today. Sending you warm hugs and wishes for nothing but smooth sailing.
