You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Thank you as well for your kind offer. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Nothing is too personal. Cancer sucks, but the goodwill you get from those close to you and the new "sisters" you have acquired will help get you through it. Yes, there will be some people who don't know how to act or what to say to you so I encourage you to reach out here and if you have support groups in your area. I was lucky to have a work crew who not only cheered me on, they let me vent about things I couldn't say around my family. It helps so much to be able to let loose, so feel free to grieve and get angry and say whatever to me if you need to! Me and the others on this site will understand!

Hello. Everyone will tell you chemo affects everyone differently, true. Each drug has possible side effects doesn't mean you will have them all. I guess for me the important thing is when I did have side effects or do I relate them to my oncology staff to see what can be done. I have had 3 chemo and learned with each one something new, 3 to go. This site has been great for info.
