Hello and welcome to WhatNext!!! Just wanted to welcome you and let you know you're not alone. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer at age 62. Surgery (after surgery I was bumped up to IIIC)... then Chemo... the road was long (two years on chemo) But holding God's hand and following where He led... and He led me to a GREAT Gynecologic Oncologist Surgeon.... I'm here 7 years later still cancer Free. Welcome, We're here to listen, and help, give a cyber hug or advise on the easy stuff, and occasionally the hard stuff. Glad you found us!

    HI,
and good to connect with other 3c survivors! Please fill free to communicate any time you wish. i am not on internet that often, so there could be a time laspe. For me, it seems sitting down very long makes stiffness of joints worse.. especially the spine. Since my large operation in 2012 the incision of the core muscles has forced me to use my back to an overload capacity. I have some permanant nerve damage as well in the front which sometimes gives me grief. Trying to avoid the pain I used the back even more. I have just accepted knowing it's part of staying alive and maybe someday soon they will find better procedures and remedies for all these complicatons. I am praying for all who go through these things! Have a great day, hot here in the east! Ugh, staying in most of today due to the heat index. Never-the-less it's a great day to be alive, and I celebrate every day! Jean

Hello and welcome, we are glad to have you with us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/ovarian-and-fallopian-tube-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
