Just received today's "WhatNext" and noted you also reside here in Framingham and simply wanted to drop a "hello" to a fellow townie as we both fight this fight. Mine's colorectal carcinoma diagnosed in July 2011 and treated at the Vernon Cancer Center, Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Where is your cancer center? I've completed all the pre-surgery radiation/chemo, surgery, reversal and follow-up six months of chemo. Now having check-ups and blood draws with oncologist every three months, CT every three months and the colonoscopies. So far, so good. Learning to live with after effects. "Maybe catch you someday at Shoppers World or Uno's or....." Keep the faith.

ivyJ posted an update For all who thought my taking graviola/soursop for my cancer was nonsense...listen to this. I had a PET-ct two weeks ago and just got the results today. My cancer has not advanced since last July 2014. Cancer, which shows as a bright flash on the film, has actually dimmed during the last 3 months. Two years ago I was so ill that my Oncologist said I would not go into remission and would die in a year. In April 2014, I had a new tumor. I start taking 1300mg of pure Graviola each morning and again at night. I bought it from Amazon.com and I suppose they sell it in the health food store. Make sure the label reads "Pure Graviola ." Of course staying in prayer or meditation can help and a pastor prayed a miracle for me. I want people to know what Graviola has done for me. It not good for people with low blood pressure. That 's the only warning. If it works after three months, please pass the word along. I fight a good fight and have never indulged in self-pity. I also take Beta Glucan (builds the immune system. - I 've been off of chemo for 3 months yet have improved. See more at: https://www.whatnext.com/home#sthash.1jGYcXzu.dpuf

Our GP doctor told us about the dead cancer cells causing problems, then a nutritionist I was talking with told me the same thing - if the dead cells can't be removed and you keep adding more and more to the pile, what's gonna happen? Neither our oncologist or radiaologist mentioned this, so I asked the question.
