Nancyb - You sound like me in the humor dept. We have every reason in the world to be serious, sad and fearful and of course, some days, we are. But humor is very important to me and helps keep me going. When I first got my port put in, I referred to it as a port-a-potty during my tour of the chemo room, and the oncologist heard me and said "Yup, she'll fit right in here." So I am fortunate that the oncology staff likes/needs a good laugh now and then, also.
