Hi, Migrant - Abrub asked me to tell you that she has seen your question, and will reply as soon as she can. Right now, she is having some computer issues.

She asked me to tell you that C Diff is not an uncommon problem after this surgery, although she didn't have it. However, she was in the hospital for quite an extended stay as her gut stopped functioning after the first round of IP chemo. Complications are normal, but we can recover from them.

Congratulations Migrant it is great to hear your husband is doing so well. My husband is also still hanging in there. He ended up not qualifying for the HIPEC due to too many small tumors, but he is doing chemo every other week and doing ok.
