Hi, Lisa. Good to hear that you are better. I am, like you, finally feeling like a human again after having a double mastectomy in June with implantation of expanders to be followed up with reconstruction. My body did not react at all well with the expanders and after multiple infections and complications, all accompanied by the dreaded fluid drains, they had to be removed in August. I am still waiting to hear from my Oncotype test to know whether I will or will not have to undergo chemotherapy. Unless the oncologist believes that there will be a very significant improvement in my outlook with the treatment I will not do it. I am not ready to go through more misery at this point but we will have to see. I have a wonderful supportive husband who will see me through whatever comes next. Hugs to you and stay strong.
