I see that my email address was removed. I am affiliated with a website called: seniormobiles.com (or seniormobiles dot com). If you go there you will find a link that says "contact us". You can email me from there and then I'll give you my personal email.

    Hi Jewel,
Thanks for your reply. I'd love to talk to you in more depth. It appears you are located a bit south of Ft Lauderdale...correct? I'm a couple of hours north, but that's not a huge obstacle. You can email me at ashousing@comcast.net. Did you ever get an answer about what TLC meant?

Hi Jewel. I saw that you elected to start following me. I try to be comic relief around here when I can. While being empathetic. It's a tough balance. If there is anything I can do to be of assistance, please let me know. I'm a good cheerleader if nothing else. Just don't ask me to do the splits, as something would break -- me, the floor, the nearby furniture... I hope you are doing well in treatment.

Hi JewelF, wishing you all the best with your treatments. I am in Miramar and had chemo at UM Sylvester Plantation. You will get through this, just stay strong and take one day at a time!

Hearing you have cancer is a devastating moment in your life, but you will find a strength that you never knew you had, reach out for the support that you need and good luck with your treatment. Remember you are NEVER alone.

TRY TO KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. I KNOW IT IS HARD. I WAS DIAGNOSED IN DECEMBER 2011. HAD SURGERY AND CHEMO AND WAS ON A STUDY DRUG. CA-125 SHOWED IT WAS BACK AND I AM NOW ON A DIFFERENT CHEMO. IT WORKED FOR AWHILE - BUT IT MAY BE BACK AGAIN. OVARIAN CANCER IS CONSIDERED A CHRONIC CANCER. IT WILL COME BACK AND A NEW CHEMO WILL BE USED. I KNOW I WILL BE IN AND OUT OF CHEMO THE REST OF MY LIFE. BUT - I FEEL GOOD MOST OF THE TIME AND HAVE A GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE. I HOPE YOU FEEL GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE AS WELL. HANG IN THERE.

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
