Best wishes on your journey. I also was diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer and had surgery and radiation treatments. It's been 5 years since I had radiation treatments and all is well. You may want to ask your doctor about radiation side effects. I was diagnosed with radiation proctitis 9 months after treatment which was a surprise. Take care.

Hi Jcvg. I was also diagnosed with endometrial cancer 2 years ago. I was stage 1 as well but did not require additional treatment. Other than occasional bouts of "post cancer diagnosis anxiety" and a few post hysterectomy things, I feel great. I hope your treatment goes uneventfully and you recover quickly.

If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way, everyone will have access & you'll get a quicker response. I was diagnosed w/stage IV endometrial cancer in Aug 2012. I did the chemo thing, but no radiation. Just passed my 5 year "cancerversary" and I am currently NED (no evidence of disease). Hope you hear those 3 letters very soon! Wishing you all the best.
