Hi, I was diagnosed with ILC in April 2013. ER/PR positive, Her2 neg. Sounds like the exact same cancer. Had bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction and will have my exchange surgery tomorrow. I will start hormone therapy shortly after that. I'm very nervous about that and the side effects. You don't live far from me. I'm in Lansdale and my plastic surgeon is in Newtown. Small world. Good Luck to you!0August 2013

Hi. I too have invasive lobular carcinoma, and positive for estrogen receptors. I was diagnosed last June and finished chemo the day after Christmas. I did not receive radiation because the little beastie had already gone into my bones and liver.
I find that staying positive helps a lot, even if sometimes the humor may get a little morbid. I have always loved a good laugh. Although I have to admit , it gets tough some days to find anything to smile about.
Anyway.... Wanted to say hello and if I can help give me shout.0April 2013 -
Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
You may also find our "Beginner's Guide To Cancer" page helpful Click Here for that=> http://bit.ly/10BQKCi
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
