My husband was just diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer with mets. I feel so helpless, but his spirits are high. I just need some uplifting and support.

Good to hear from you. PC is a giant pain in the rear. So frustrating. We just want to reach in there and pull it out for everyone. You are a heck of a fighter, and have beaten the odds before. I don't know anyone else who has put up such an aggressive fight against it with the chemo embolization and all of that. You're the Chuck Norris of pancreatic cancer. Congratulations on your new grandchild on the way. We need a big unexpected surprise breakthrough.

    CaptainBob,

I was diagnosed with pancreatic in April 04 and had the Whipple procedure on April 27. ( days and I went home with a staph infection and a wound pump. Long 70 mile ride home. The couch and I were friends for a couple of months, I was doing 24/7 5FU, hands and feet were horribly blistered. 8 & 1/2 years later I am still here but have horrible neuropathy in both hands and feet. HINT: Lyrica helps a bunch and you can get into Pfizers "Connection to Care" and they ship 90 day supply right to your home.

We're all in this together. Prayer and a good attitude is the best answer!
