Hi Kage, we have an opportunity for melanoma patients to participate in a survey/study about their treatments they have taken. It's a simple survey that will take about 90 minutes by phone, if you qualify to take the survey you will be paid $200.00. If you check your email you will find an invitation to take the survey to see if you will qualify. Let me know if you have any questions.

After the first 3 injections, given in the hospital under doctors supervision, now I give him the injections 2 pens of 18 000 000 each in the sholder...I can't wait to get through 2 more weeks...and see what's next...We still have to do tests and hope that there will be no recurrences under treatment.

Thanks for asking about us...today we have 2 full weeks of interferon. It's hard. the worst effect is cough. the surgery is still leaking, so there's a discomfort, he's not depresive, yet. We go to the doc on monday to have the blood tests done and we'll talk about the cough...And how are you ?

thanks a lot for your answers. I guess we have to wait and see. The thing is that if the last nodes are positive , then it interferon is a must do. My husband hates the idea of chemo and especially the hair loss, it makes him stay home instead of going to work, at least that's what he says now. Last year he had chemo with dacarbazine and lost hair , this made him not want to go out for a long time. How did you take interferon? Everyday injections? Does it hurt? IV chemo was hurting his arms..
