Hello just wanted to say hello and welcome to what next but sorry for what brings you and your husband. It is an enormous shift in focus after being in a role of taking care of others and let that go in order to take care of self. Needs time to make the shift but never lose his self advocacy. Give him time, took me about 6 months to say ok with separating my professional self from home self. Professional me still here but learned it's ok to be patient me too. Sending healing thoughts for you both. Know very stressful on you too. You will find much support for you both here.
