Hi Debbie, Just read the good news about your journey. Glad and happy you are in remission. I have been in remission since 09, I was diagnosed in 04, did have a swelling in my left neck and also had the surgery, then 22 radiation treatments. Was home free till one week away from 5 years. It came back as stage 4 in my bone marrow and and abdomen and the right side of my neck, had surgery there and 8 rounds of R chop. Plus4 bone marrow biobsies. Then Dec. 23, 09 I had Zevalin which is a radioimmuntherapy. So thank the Lord I have been in remission since then, but it somehow never leaves your mind. Have other health issues but coping as best I can. Thank you for following me. Would love to hear from you. I wish you well, Hilde

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing that article. That was very helpful. I start 5 weeks of radiation next week after 6 rounds of R-CHOP.

Thanks Debbie...yes it is hard returning to school. My Social Worker where i had my stem cell transplant 6 months ago was such an inspiration to me i decided that is what i want to do. I want to be able to help cancer patients like i was helped, so i have decided to become a Social Worker.
