Just came back from JAX and so everything is looking good...one thing we found out is that for proton therapy you have to qualify for it..since there are only 13 machines worldwide everyone wants that treatment and i know one in JAX are very selective of people who would most benefit from it. while there i was talking to cpl of people from U.K. and Utah. We will be starting her treatment July 1st. anyways ill keep you posted as we learn more.

I read your post that you answered about hodgkins and nodules. I read about the terrible itching you had. i had that too. It was as awful as you described. No relief until I started the radiation. I haven't ran into anyone that describes the itching like I had.

Hi, thank you for your quick response to my question regarding transplant. It is actually for an allogeneic stem cell transplant but I think Robin Roberts condition is somewhat similar. I think my mom would enjoy watching the program. Best of luck with your ongoing treatment.

Hi! I saw that you commented on my post and I hope your treatments are going as good as they can possibly go. If you have any questions about chemo treamtents don't hesitate to ask. I'm 26 so we are somewhat close in age Good Luck!

Thank you ddkk3 for your very kind comments on my replies. I too hope we will find out why, but until then I want to feel as well as I can and enjoy life as much as I can!!

I just looked and saw how young you are - Wow!! My daughter is going to be 26 soon. I hope you're feeling ok, but even if you're not feeling so hot right now and you spend a lot of time on the computer, if you like to read (it's the librarian in me), there's a great online bookgroup called goodreads.com. It allows you to keep track of all the books you've read, write reviews, get book titles (to read) join book groups in particular genres, meet other people with similar tastes and read their reviews. If you love books this is a great resource!!

I have other tricks up my sleeve as well, so let me know how I can help or if you'd just like to chat-I'm a retired Librarian, teacher, Professor, so I've dealt with everyone from pre-K through college...;) plus my daughter and all her friends (I was considered the cool Mom [I was a single Mom]).
