Hi there daca1964, i was wondering if you could help me. I am at the point in the MEL process where i have to decide to do interferon or not too. I was originally stage 3a but after further testing they say im closer to stage 3b because of a bit of ulceration. That small amount is making me freak out a little. If you could tell me why you choose to do interferon and some of your experiences with it i would really appreciate it. Thank you Bria
Hi daca, we have an opportunity for melanoma patients to participate in a survey/study about their treatments they have taken. It's a simple survey that will take about 90 minutes by phone, if you qualify to take the survey you will be paid $200.00. If you check your email you will find an invitation to take the survey to see if you will qualify. Let me know if you have any questions. Greg
hi I have cancer in the mucosa, not in the skin. I am not a sun or tanning person. this is just a wild cancer that I just got, out of the blue. I had the tumor removed in Jan., but no treatment, yet. Good luck to you too!
Hi There! I saw your post regarding the Melanoma survey. If you are interesting please email me directly and I will send you the details: Lia@WhatNext.com. Looking forward to your participation!

Hi! I just finished treatment last week. One year of interferon. What did you experience when you finished your treatment? Did you get your energy level back or after a bit of time? Were there any other after effects that you noticed? What type of after treatment did your oncologist recommend?
