Do you have any deficits? My husband has expressive aphasia, memory loss, balance issues and confusion. These are not seeming to go away or get better but it's only been four months. The doctor said if they were going to get better they would be better by now.0October 2013

There are many excellent people here always willing to help in any way with the latest information or experiences to share. You are among friends….there are no strangers here. Cancercoach,
I think you have much to offer here and there are many here who could benefit from your "Can Do" attitude. I think the best way for you to apply your talents are to read and respond to the posts that you feel your talents could lend assistance to. You have an opportunity to let others know that in this battle, there are victors in the making and help them to see that side of themselves. A coach more than anyone knows the benefit of team spirit. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.0September 2013 -
Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Your experience as a survivor is valuable to those who are just starting their journey. You can help others greatly simply by answering a few questions on the page. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site.
