Hi Terry, we have an opportunity for melanoma patients to participate in a survey/study about their treatments they have taken. It's a simple survey that will take about 90 minutes by phone, if you qualify to take the survey you will be paid $200.00. If you check your email you will find an invitation to take the survey to see if you will qualify. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello, sorry to hear about your diagnoses. I was diagnosed with Melanoma little over a hear ago, Aug 2012. Mine came back again and luckly it hasn't spread anywhere else. I'm having my second treatment on proceedure called Isolated Limb Infusion where they do a high, high dosage of chemo just to my right leg and the chemo doesn't go through my entire system. I thought I'd pass this along to you, don't know if you've ever heard of this treatment but you could ask your doctor about it. Good luck.

I've heard that taking a cup or so of uncooked plain oatmeal and putting it in an old nylon stocking or pantyhose and fastening it closed with a rubber band and after moistening the oats in water rubbing the oats on your skin, allowing the water from the oats to dry on you skin oftentimes helps with itchy skin. It might be worth a try to see if you can get some relief.

I thought I'd heard it all, but having it come back from where it was removed? That sucks. Hang in there. It's a leaky boat, but we're still bailing.
