Hi papa I’ll, thank you for your kind words. I am not on therapy. I have been on 4 clinical trials, iL2 interferon and Yervoy. I am on watch and wait. I am glad you are fighting. I have fought hard. God bless, and good luck on Keytruda, which is about a million times better than any med I have been on. I don’t know why I am still here, but if I can give hope to anybody that is is as good a reason as any. Stay in touch.

Hi! I have been reading your journey and it seems we have a lot in common. A little bit different order but basically the same. I had a j-pouch constructed when they removed part of my colon and rectum. My surgeon tells me it takes about 2 years for you to tell in to your new digestive system. I have good days and bad. I have been keeping a food and bathroom diary but I can't see any patterns yet. I see it as better than the ileostomy but I wish it was better.

I ahave the numbness in my feet as well. I have found wearing lined Crocs seems to feel the best on my feet. The momen I get home and walk in the door, the Crocs go on. I leave them on until bed and then right back on in the morning. My friend got me a pair to wear at her house as well. I posted an update earlier today about how I got in the shower this morning and didn't even realize I still had a sock on my foot. All you can do is smile sometimes.

Good luck in your journey and stay in touch.
