I am so sorry to hear of your loss at a time you most need your mother. It must be so difficult. I was diagnosed with stage lll uterine cancer early 2011 and finished chemo in August of 2011. I am doing well now and know you will too, eventually in time. All the best to you, feel free to"contact" me at any time.

marchpane81, I'm so very sorry that you lost your mother. Was it recent? I'm a uterine cancer survivor, but recently lost my Dad, who had many health things going on, including lung cancer which was discovered just before he died (he never let on just how ill he was--- he was that kind of guy). He died just under 2 months ago. He was my buddy. I miss him every day. I understand about needing your own time and space, and to be allowed your grief, especially since you were very close to your mother. It will take as long as it takes, and no one can (or should try to) deprive you of it. Unfortunately, since everyone handles grief differently, and some may not be as tolerant of others' feelings as they should be, it often feels very lonely. Please know that you are loved and cherished. Any time you want to vent,, feel free to do it here. And if you need to cry, so be it. If your spouse can't understand your grief, tell him to get over it. He'll have his turn (we all do at some time in our lives), and will be needing your understanding and support. Much love to you. I hope that on this Thanksgiving day you can be peaceful.
