Hi , you have read my mind, I am thinking of breast reconstruction, for my lumpectomy right breast (done Nov.12, 2012, then 30 rounds of Radiation, I am Cancer free, Praise God). I have about half of it left, and the size difference, and hole or sunken place above my nipple looks really bad. My feelings are in tack. I am wondering, doc said I would need to have the muscle stretched, and would take 2-3 surgeries to reconstruct(my surgeon for the Cancer lumpectomy, he done no reconstruction), and has referred me to a plastic surgeon, for further planning. I am healthy and grateful, for what I have left. Just need some opinions of those of you who have already had this done. You say implants are the better method. What kind? To make the breast be equal, I would need both breasts done, right? How dangerous is this for my body. Is there any dangers, having several procedures done, now, since I just had surgery 1 year ago, and the Radiation. I am feeling well. My skin is healed nicely, the Aquaphor, is a good medication, and I still use it on my chest and breast. It is a wonderful healing cream for the face and entire body. Use it lavishly as a moisturizer for the face, my Radiation doc said it is one of the best. I am so grateful for these skilled medical personnel, who have guided me safely thus far. Sooo... is it worth a reconstruction or just stay as I am and be very Grateful, for the Cancer free body that I reside in? I learn so much reading of your experiences, and am encouraged always by your unselfishly sharing. Thank you.

o I loved your story. I was diagnosed with stage 1B lung cancer in Feb. 2012. I was very fortunate that it was caught early. It is still cancer and I was very scared. Had my right lower lung removed and took chemo and then brain radiation. I do not know how my two shitzus new I felt so alone but they never left my side and got as close to me as they could. My husband has been a great help but my dogs with their big eyes keep me grounded Just by snuggling up close. I just hag a ct scan of my brain and a Pet s
