Welcome to a great group of ladies that you would have never had contact with unless you had this serious endometrial cancer. Lucky you, huh. In all seriousness, I just returned from my doctor and have her tell me that the full body scan did not reveal any bone cancer. Yeah, Yeah. I have had so much bone pain and with each day it has gotten worse. This all started around late Feb. early March, I have had all the tests and nothing was found. But when Olivia Newton John's diagnosis as cancer because she had severe back pain, and her doctor said that with a breast cancer with severe back pain it is taken very seriously, so I called my doctor and had an appointment on Friday and no Bone Cancer thank God. Unfortunately, they still don't know the cause of all my bone pain. But, I soon will be seeing an Orthopedic Physician, I will soon be scheduled for an MRI, and Neurologist also, so hopefully someone will find something. I told them 'I am tired of kicking this dead horse' and there must be something causing all this pain. It is a real effort for me to get through each day, I walk with jell packs on my thigh and butt cheek, or I wouldn't be able to walk at all. Even my arms are sore from leaning on the cabinets trying to keep weight off my legs. Prayers needed. Oh, they wanted to prescribe some pain pills to take the 'edge off', but with my kidneys, I am very limited to what pain pills I can take. I have been on dialysis from (so called) kidney failure 5 years ago June 5th. I had 2 catheters, each of which failed and I had 2 good treatments out of 8 and I was off. I never want to go back there again, so I am extremely careful that I drink plenty of water and especially with all my medications. I told them "NO" to pain pills when they don't even know the cause of the pain. So, I just pray that there is a reason behind this. At least it is not bone cancer, at least that was the most recent diagnosis. My doctor, my pastor who was a former nurse and my family and especially me, thought for sure it was bone cancer, because I have heard how very painful bone cancer is, but thankfully at least today it isn't. Wishing you good luck with your treatments. If I can help you, I certainly would, but don't know what more than "lifting you up in prayer", I can do. So have a great day and until later, Vivbob from Iowa
