Thank you for your comment on the NIH trial. For some reason I didn't get notification so only saw it today. I am looking into clinical trials as an option to stem cell transplants, but my oncologist says that CAR-T is very toxic. Do you know if the NIH trial you mentioned is still active? Does it have an identifier I can search in their database? Would love to discuss further ftf since you've had experience with what sounds like my situation but the site doesn't permit private exchange of email addys.

Some of the anti-nausea meds (Zofran) cause constipation. Use stool softeners prophylactically (and adjust as needed) and get off the anti-nausea meds as soon as you can after each chemo round. Plan for it rather than wait for it to happen - stool softeners when returning home after chemo and on the days you use anti-nausea meds.

Stay hydrated too. These DLBCL chemos can slow down the GI tract too. Stay active and keep a regular schedule, helps keep the body more regular.

Be cautious about supplements and some juices, as they can interfere with some chemo drugs. Ask your doctors before adding something new to you diet and let them know what you are eating & any supplements you may be taking.
