Hi TerriL thank you so much for sharing your experience! I have surgery tomorrow for a lumpectomy... there is no suspicion of lymph nodes affected however i am having sentinel node biopsy as well. Was wondering about your 6 months worth of chemo, that sounds like SUCH a long time... good luck with your next stage of radiation... what a long journey... be strong!0December 2018
Terri, thanks for reaching out to others with a similar diagnosis as yours. As you know, we are all in shock and scared to death when it first starts, some of us feel alone and lost. I agree.... eating is a challenge for sure! I found I can kind of taste roasted vegetables, but you burn more calories trying to digest most of them than you gain from them.... so THAT is not helpful.0June 2018
