Hey,
Just wanted to say thank you for the "like" today and also the kind words you wrote suggesting another member contact me. The like came at a time today when I needed it the most and I just wanted you to know that I appreciate the gesture. I hope all is well, Carm.0February 2013 -

Dear Southern Mom, chemo brain is so much fun!! By the way I'm being sarcastic. I threw my phone charger in the trash the other day and let my dogs outside to run, we live in the country. I forgot I put them out until our golden retriever was literally knocking on the door! ( LOL) I forget what I'm saying in mid-sentence or just can't quite grasp the word I want to use. It is frustrating to say the least. Some days are worse than others. I do a lot of word search and unscramble word type puzzles to try and keep my brain moving. My husband thinks it's funny, I have to laugh at myself at times but I know exactly how you feel. I hope it gets better but my experience is that it's all part of what we put up with during treatment. Your boys are adorable! Blessings to all of you. Forgive me if I have spelling errors, i suffer from CHEMO BRAIN!!!0February 2013

I am not sure how to write back and forth on here. I am doing good now but it wasn't an easy journey. I started treatment in March 2012 and finished in the end of 2012. I am now NED (no evidence of Disease) and am starting to feel more like me.0February 2013

Hi SouthernMom,
My vaginal cancer diagnosis was a little under a year ago. If you want to chat with me, message back. I can share with you what my experience has been. I have an 8 year old daughter so I understand what it's like to have a child while dealing with all of this. Keep in mind everyone's journey is different...but I'm here!0February 2013 -
Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, any questions you may have just post them in the questions tab and everyone will see them there and be able to help you.
https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/cervical-cancer
There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.
Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.
Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
