    Hi Msreje,

Not meaning to be a pain, but having just arrived home from vacation and having just had to put my cat to sleep (she had lymphosarcoma), I don't know if you'd ever asked Greg to give you my email, but I'll be sure to ask for yours. I'd really like to try to get us on the road. Thanks Aliza. If he does, feel free to email me and while I know your alias...;), please also use your name here so I know who you are!...;)

    Best,
    Aliza

    Msreje,

Hi, I'm back from my vacation and eager to get back to our Manhattan meetup group. Just to be sure, if you don't have my email address, be sure to email Greg and get it and email me. Thanks!

    Hi Msreje,

I believe I wrote you earlier telling you how glad I was you replied re the group. It's probably more sensible to work out the details on email. Mine is aliciaphillips1724@gmaildotcom

Thanks for replying to my post! My daughter lives in Bayside as well!...;) I live in Marine Park, Brooklyn. I think the meetings will be held in Manhattan since we have folks coming from L.I. and I know you can hop the LIRR as well, so we can try to forage for a nice place near Penn Sta. Stay tuned on the site or email me at aliciaphillips1724@gmail.com. Best, Alicia

It was so nice to read from someone who has had what I'm going to go through. I have finally got insurance approval, now on to testing on heart murmur and makes sure things are lined up and get a surgery date set. Hopefully after reading comments on here, my stress levels can go down so I can concentrate on getting rid of cancer and move on with life.

I too am going to have the stomach used for the reconstruction part. I have heard the stomach muscle being tight is the worst part of the whole ordeal. I guess I will find that out in a few weeks or so. My main problem in coping in the word cancer first of all then not know if it has spread or not. Just want to get on with surgery to get answers. Thanks for your help

Hi Msreje, I am scheduled for a Diep flap July 5th and find it comforting to know that other people have a good experience with this procedure, I too had a single Masectomy and hope they can make my new boob look like the other one and looking forward to having a smaller tummy, do you have any advise for me :)
