Be brave. This is not easy but you can do it. As you will see, there are many people here who have gone through this and are willing to help you with their experience.
A support group is very important, your family will need you and you will need them.
You will be in my prayers.
Be brave, be hopeful.

Hi there - hang in there! You'll get more information soon. You do have to be an advocate for yourself at the SAME time as being sick! It's so hard sometimes. Lean on a spouse or family member - they want to help! It's very scary but just try to stay focused, don't think of all the bad things and take deep breaths.0March 2013

Hi Kalya. Welcome to What Next. There are a lot of really great people here. If you have any questions, please post on the question tab @ the top of the page. That way, everyone has access to it and you are more likely to get the assistance you need. I'm glad you found us but I'm sorry for the circumstances that led you here. You are still very new to your diagnosis, so I imagine you are overwhelmed. When you need to vent, vent here. We are very good at listening and offering whatever support we can. I wish you well.0March 2013

Kalya, ask lots of questions concerning your surgery. Take a friend of family member with you to be another set of ears. Let them ask questions. I know this is all very scary but once you get some answers and know what you're dealing with it will get easier. I am sending prayers your way and please keep us posted.0March 2013
