Judit, where is the support group that you have for the Albany, New York area? Where do they gather...how does one join? I am just at the start of my journey to fight for my life...meeting with oncologists as I stated in my prior post on your wall some time this week and surgery is to be scheduled, etc. so grading can be done once lymph nodes are examined...so frightened...my dad died from hodgkin's lymphoma...I'm praying I am more lucky and strong enough to endure this...

Hi, I too am from albany and just diagnosed with same cancer...will be meeting with oncologists this week at Albany Medical Center, schedule for full hysterectomy and removal of lymph nodes for staging...so scared...how are you doing and God Bless and hope you continue to fight the good fight just as I plan to do.

I'll be praying that all goes well for you. The waiting was the worst for me as I kept imagining all the things that could go wrong. Now, I am 7 weeks post surgery, walking an hour a day most days, lifting and carrying. I do still have some pressure like discomfort at some of the incision sites. I'm sure that will continue to improve.

Hello Judit, thank you for mentioning Gilda Club. I've been looking for some type support group to get involved with. I was able to find a couple of them here in the Dallas Ft Worth area. One of the groups meet less than 10 minutes from my home. I'm calling them today about joining up!! If you hadn't post that I don't know that I would have found them so thanks again!!
