Hi Imagine1, thanks for your kind words. Until I found this site, I felt so alone. But knowing there are so many suffering and trying to find answers, I know I can turn to someone and get help, only if it's prayers and kind words. Please keep me informed and, again, I am praying for you and your husband. love ya, too!

Hi Imagine1. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Rough patch continues. I'm so glad that your husband is finally going to get treatment. I hope and pray that it helps him. I will find out on the 22nd how my last chemoem worked. I get a liver MRI on the 15th and see dr. on the 22nd. I'll let you know how it went. You both are in my thoughts and prayers and I'll pray extra for your husband. Hang in there. Love, hugs and many prayers!

Hi, Imagine1, glad to hear from you. Sounds like you've got great neighbors in your new apartment. I went for lab work on Monday, also saw the PA and got my injection of Sandostatin LAR. I am scheduled for a MRI on Dec. 15 to see how the chemoembolization worked, then see my oncologist the next week. I'm pretty much recovered from the chemoembolization, but still tired. If your husband is scheduled for it, it isn't bad at all. I didn't feel anything while they were doing it. The worst part is dealing with the after effects, and they go away in about 3 or 4 weeks, Know that I am praying for you and your husband and I'm lopoking forward to hearing from you again. Hugs and love.

Hi Imagine1. Just checking in to see how things are going with you and your husband. I'n slowly recovering from my last chemoemolization on my liver. I go for lab work tomorrow, also to see Onc. PA, and then get my injection of Sandostatin LAR. I get one every four weeks. I was started on it over 10 years ago and have gotten one every 4 weeks since. I'm sending prayers and hugs to you!

Hello and welcome, we are glad you found us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/liver-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
