Hi HGWWW. I didn't take Herceptin because my cancer was ER/PR positive HER2 negative. I was on Taxotere and Cytoxan (and now Tamoxifen for 5 years). Yes, I did lose my hair - I shaved it off a couple of days before starting chemo so when it actually started to fall out it wasn't that big of a deal. The thought of losing your hair is much scarier than losing it. Chemo sucked for sure but wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My doctor prescribed a scopolamine patch for nausea and I didn't get sick once. Everyone is different but for me, chemo just felt like having the flu for a few days. My infusions were on Wednesdays. By Friday night I was starting to feel like I was coming down with something. Saturday and Sunday I didn't feel like doing anything and then I'd start to feel better on Monday or Tuesday. Mostly chemo makes you TIRED!!! try not to look at chemo as a bad thing...it's a huge defense against the cancer! Your cancer will be so scared after chemo kicks its a$$ that it will NEVER want to come back! Hang in there. You are not alone *hugs*
