Hi Janice, I am doing fairly well. Just tire easily. My doctor has put me back on Kyprolis (one of the first meds I took 5 years ago). I am getting the IVs two days a week right now. I just went today. After I read that a lot of MM patients actually die from pneumonia, I decided to get a pneumonia shot. I got it yesterday. It seems like I might have a little rash....I'm going to watch it. How are you doing...and what's going on with you now?

Janice: Hi! I thought I'd check in and see how you are feeling and to let you know that I had a 3 month check Monday and passed with flying colors! I'm feeling stronger and getting more done during the day which is really rewarding. Hope you're doing well.

Janice: I was very encouraged to hear your story and it gave me hope for the possibility of being a long time survivor. I had a 2 transplants also, but both auto, within 95 days. I have been in remission since Dec., 2014 and I have been grateful for every day that has been added to my life by my treatment and God's grace. I hope you continue to be healthy and thank you for sharing your experiences.

Thank you so much for your response about my cousin..I have just been reading your experiences..Like you my cousin is blessed to have a brother who is a match for him.The day we all got that news I just thanked the Lord for prayers answered. What a loving sister you have..I am so happy a bout your active treatment being more then 5 years ago..What an inspiration you are to others. My cousin in March had the decision to end his treatment and live what life he had left,or go on the stem cell transplant, with the chance of it working 20% and live as long as possible. He was sitting by a window waiting to see his oncologist and he saw an eagle appear looking out that window, and he knew right then,he was to go on and fight, and that is what he told his doctor. He was in late stages of Myeloma when he was diagnosed and was misdiagnosed..The back pain that sent him to emergency surgery, had he not had it,would have never been able to walk again...Your hope and sharing gives so much hope..Have A Wonderful Day Sincerely Cathy (Me2)
